In memory of Iain Murray who sadly passed away recently, I am opening a new social area here at Riders Cycle Centre. A place where riders and runners can relax, enjoy a brew, warm themselves by the wood burner, peruse through the library or chat with the instore mechanic, me. In other words, do what Iain used to do here at the workshop.
Work is already underway with cupboards and worktops. Coffee and tea facilities and a sandwich toaster. Brill.
The new social area will be used for all manner of events and gatherings. Meetings, ride-outs, social get-togethers as well as product launches, talks and seminars.
To help fund this project I am selling 10 of these small-batch cycling casquettes. I hope you agree when I say their design is right up Iain’s street.
The 10 caps were kindly made by Mark at the Wensleydale Wheelbuilding Workshop Thank you, Mark.
To help raise funds for Murray’s Pit Stop I have set the cost of the caps at a “Name Your Price” so please donate as much as you wish. All profit will go towards furnishing Murray’s Pit Stop.
There is now a Murray’s Pit Stop Facebook page where everything MPS will be posted so please click the link and join
